Features for the P0703 Multi-Channel Basic ADC Board

The P0703 Multi-Channel Basic Analog to Digital Converter Board provides a 12 bit ADC interface with 16 analogue input channels. The converter is a high quality 12 bit ADC with a 16 channel input multiplexer. Each input is buffered with a flexible amplifier configuration. This allows each input to be individually configured for a range of voltages and either bipolar or unipolar voltages. This ADC board provides single-ended inputs only, not differential.

The converter input stage has a low noise, wide bandwidth track-and-hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies in excess of 1 MHz. The buffer amplifier input electronics has been designed to not degrade this performance.

The P0703 Multi-Channel Basic ADC board is designed so each input channel also has a ground connection available. This should simplify backplane wiring as each input signal can be screened and have its screen terminated at the backplane connector, without the need for splices etc.

Three bipolar and three unipolar input versions are available with the following input voltage ranges -

Bipolar input versions: +/-10V, +/-20V, +/-40V

Unipolar input versions: 0 to 10V, 0 to 20V, 0 to 40V
