Features for the P0704 PIC Development Board

The P0704 PIC Development Board, by Compact Control Design, is ideal for getting started with our motor driver modules and P0701 USB PIC Microcontroller Module.

The Development Board supports up to 4 motor driver modules. Each module position accepts either a stepper motor module or a DC motor module. The PIC Development Board has been designed to accommodate other driver modules as we expand our product range.

On the Development Board all of the USB PIC module input/output signals are available through screw terminals. This therefore makes connections to sensors, switches, lamps, relays etc. easy. 

Ports B and E, which form 11 input/output signals, can be configured with pull-ups and input filtering. These are suitable for connection to limit switches, home position sensors etc. 

The Development Board allows bus-powered or self-powered operation of the P0701 USB PIC Microcontroller Module. It also includes a P0615 Mini Regulator meaning that only a single power supply is required for the motor driver modules. 

The stepper motor drive current can be easily adjusted for each module by variable resistors. All options are configured using jumpers and all connections to the P0704 PIC Development Board are made by high quality screw terminals.

When purchasing the P0704 PIC Development Board a USB PIC Microcontroller Module, a Mini Regulator and 40 jumpers are included.
